Housed in a 100 year old restored row building, Ad Astra is more than just another bar- it is the most thoughtful and inclusive wine and cocktail experience available in Central Illinois.
In our space, you’ll find more than your new favorite wine while sitting under the falling stars at our twenty foot quartz bar or lounging with friends on our plush booths in our seating area.
Every inch of this space has been painstakingly and lovingly restored to the buildings former glory with new touches custom curated and made to enhance the existing history and beauty of our space.
The original tin ceilings, original brick, and 100 year old wood flooring were all revived and repaired and every new detail- including our 20 foot wall of wine- were custom made by the finest craftspeople in the area to resemble the original design details from when the brick was first laid on our foundation in 1912.
Our building already has 100 years of history and stories built in, now it’s time for you to come add yours.
